Name: Professor: Course: Date: Narrative Structure As Depicted In “The Scarlet Letter” By Nathaniel Hawthorne According to the stylistic literature devices employed in the novel The Scarlet Letter readers can gain an insight of how good of a writer the author is as he allows them to anticipate of how the rest of the book is. In the most of the book the author makes use of long complex sentences to tell his story giving his readers an opportunity to think and analyze the information they just read critically. His technique embraces the use of full techniques which helps him avoid instances where he is likely to deliver his overall message in bits. Apart from the delivery style utilized in the book the author uses a variety of different sentence structures making the novel to have minimal autonomous instances. His sentences have been written with minimal repetitions from one was on his skin. We later learn about his death after such actions. The townspeople lei in media as they cannot believe that Dimmesdale was responsible for adulterous acts. Chillingworth on the other hand leave s all of his inheritance to Pearl before his death making her very rich. Hester and her daughter finally find a reason to flee New England for Europe. Conclusion After a series of years Hester can return to Boston where she and her daughter can share a cottage they once did. After all this year Hester continues to wear the letter A despite the fact that she does not have to. Women from all around come to her for advice out of the respect they have for her.
